She does live in Southern California, we live in Las Vegas but her mom and dad and some other extended family are here. Even though 6 weeks isn't that long, it's still a month and a half. 4 weeks apart certainly isn't THAT long of a time for a "long distance relationship" and is less time than you have currently been together.
