One thing I did enjoy about this particular person, and perhaps it was a function of her job experience, or maybe the mesh of her personality and that experience, is that she handled 'things that came up' and 'change' in a cool and collected manner. No drama. Overall, reflecting back, that would be the overriding positive from that experience, even if it might run counter to generalities about doctors. No drama and, further, it wasn't all about her, so a balanced ego, even with a skillset which might promote a sense of self-importance or being 'better than others'.
Those are some good things to consider. It's a little more than 4 years age difference. The problem I think is more with me than with him. I might also mention there a other differences between us that have absolutely no bearing. But the age keeps coming into play.
When I first dated my ex husband, I broke up with him after 6 months I was concerned with the age difference (haha- look at me now)... anyhow- he begged to have me back, we worked it out, and then he sort of pulled the same thing with me that your guy is pulling with you. It just took a bit for me to realize he was protecting himself from being hurt again.

Well you could flat out ask her if there is a reason she is playing games with you. Maybe she likes you and likes someone else or just started dating someone and is too scared to tell you since she knows that you like her. I would try and find out what is really going on. I would be more hurt to find out that they were hiding something from me rather then not just telling me.....best of luck hun. Plus you are young, don't let one chick ruin it for ya. There are better women out there that will like you for you.
